不知大家有没有注意到，But后面的主语应该是3个短语，可是为何用了what is to is A1,A2,A3这样的形式呢？

为何选了A而不是D? A用了现在式，总觉得不可行，相比之下，D就比较好了。。。。

803，为何不用what are ....are A1,A2,A3；这里因为5各选项都是what is，但以后碰到类似该如何解？

tianwan好像没有理解我的话，看来我表达得还不够：

我觉得这里应该用What are + are，而不应该是what is + is，你说呢，Tianwan？

给我一个不用What are + are的理由先，拜托了。。。。

我没有查到what从句里面的单复数规则, 哪位NN帮忙。什么时候用what is，什么时候用what are？

不是NN，但偶在朗文字典里查到相关的两条：

WHAT

3 the thing which
1) I could get you a job here if that's what you want.

2) What he did was morally wrong.

4 used at the beginning of a statement to emphasize what you are going to say

1) What that kid needs is some love and affection.

2) What we'll do is leave a note for Mum to tell her we won't be back till late.

3) What matters is the British people and British jobs.

从解释来看what＝the thing which，本身给的定义就是代表单数；从例句来看，无一例外都是这样，不论其后真正指代的东东是一个（单数）还是两个（复数），该主语从句本身和所在主句的谓语都应该是单数的。好像中学时候老师讲过，WHAT名词性从句担当句子主语是当作单数来讲的。

这样的话，就只有what is+is，而根本没有what are + are 的情况啊。

唐三彩考虑过多，首先，你只要记住tianwan的主谓一致就行了；其次，你从a看到e,都用what is；再有，就算遇到what is /are 的题 ,what are 的情况在，What are 名词复数or What are you looking at，可以判断is or are正确，如果这道题用what are 的话，我觉得也是正确的

我觉得我们在讨论的是WHAT引导的名词性从句做主语的问题，而不是它的其他用法，如果像BON举的例子，那也应该是what you are looking at is..... 从句中是陈述语序，are 是因为和you的主谓搭配，从句中是可能因为从句的主语的单复数而变化的(但如果what 单独做从句主语从句的谓语就必须是单数的，what matters is....)，就好像把我举的例子改成: What those kids need is some love and affection.但因为what引导的从句还是做主句的主语，所以整个名词从句视为单数，要求单数的谓语。
