Just a side comment:
Google-ing is probably not a good tool when dealing with GMAT.  Asyou know, there are plenty of bad English usage, or English usage notliked by ETS, on the Internet.  Unless the usage is from somereputable sites, such as Washington Post, New York TImes, Wall StreetJournal, Business Week, Economist, etc., it won't make a convincingargument, at least to me :-)

可惜的是没有ETS的标准答案。但是这种争论确实是能起到很大的启发作用的。不在乎谁说服谁，在于互相启发，共同提高，呵呵。

Q1，仔细想一想，les的解释更好，LES所解释的用法也有很多例句。likely看来比likelihood好，to比for好。

Q4，如果是‘s所有格，肯定是不行的。但是of所有格中的东东，应该是可以的。没找到例子，以前见过。另外C的这个that好像不能省略。longman上关于announce的解释中作officially tell people时是不可以省略that的，作say something in a loud and confident way时可以。这一题的C的意思那位NN可以把歧义解释清楚。

呵呵,偶一上来就把likely当副词了,谢谢LES!

关于第四题还有since的错误,ets好像一般不用since表示原因,因为有歧义:既可能表原因,也可能表时间

You may be right. But it cannot be a maxim. I remember a GWD question: since..... put. Since is a causal clause.
