I agree with you that if you can secure a good job in HK, it's easy to transfer it to China. But, the question is: how much chance I have to land such a job in HK? Given that I can't speak Cantonese, I guess my chance is very limited.

Actually it depends on your personal skills, and luck will be an very  important factor. Some of MBA students of HKUST this year got the internships of big banks such as citic and HSBC, maybe some will be in Morgan Stalely, and the most of working language of them is Chinese and English(many foreigners can not speak Cantonese too)

would you pls send out your comments on top b-schools in asia and the ones as second-tier of US.

一般申请中大要从什么时候开始着手准备？中大的学费贵吗？生活费方面怎么样？

My opinion about the difference between top asian school and 2-tier us school is the location. If you want to stay in North America, obviously us schools are better choices. If you want to go back to HK, a top asian school like HKUST may have edge over us schools.

我是今年刚申请的，准备7月份去。 申请的程序跟国外的大致相同：需要一封老板推荐信，一份上学时老师的推荐信；大学成绩单（学校寄）；GMAT成绩（HKUST还需要TOEFL成绩）（要ETS寄，自己给学校寄去一份复印件）；自己的一封陈述信（说明为什么要读MBA等）；这些都是要寄给学校的。还有就是在网上填写申请表。学校都会在网上注明截至日期，而且所需要的材料，学校的网站上也有，你可以去看看。这些做完后，就等面试通知，我们中有人是学校来的人面试，有的是电话面试。然后就是等通知了。

你只要在学校要求的日期前把材料寄过去，在线填好申请表就行了，我是今年过春节前办理的，有点紧。你可以提前些，做好准备，赶在第一批。
