OG12 85比较补出助动词，还是不明白

选A,  为什么不补出后面的助动词呢，是不是因为这里的at the same time as就相当于more than的作用，这样看at the same time as的前后比较的就都是civilization了？

知音，就是上来问这道题的，这个at the same time as不就是一个最常见的平行结构的信号么。。。。

貌似比较civilization可把平行这个问题解释了，不过由于那个that flourished的存在，似乎这个“时间“是繁荣的时间。。。不懂了

that flourished只是个定语，而不是谓语动词，后面如果有did反而不平衡了！
看来追得不够细，不能从简单的表面仓促的下结论阿~

如果没有逗号前面的内容，只看the site of an ancient civilization that flourished at the same time as the civilizations in the Nile Delta and the river valleys of the Tigris and Euphrates.这个部分。

如果没有that，那就不一样了~~厚厚

其实这里就算不是定从 civilization flourished...as the civilization也不用加··
平常s1 v o at the same time as s2 有s2与o比较的歧义·所以为了避免造成这种歧义，就把动词补助，将其限定为s1与s2两主语的比较
85题中flourished这个动词后没有带宾语·不补助动词也不会引起歧义·
相反补助了反而是redundant
