大家对这道题一定都很熟，说下自己的2点看法，我是支持A的：
1、很多人more established industries有歧义，那请问more修饰established是什么意思呢？这里的more应该只能修饰industries吧
2、 as companies that compete我觉得比competing companies更好，A中表达是：公司日后能成为伙伴，什么样的公司呢？that引导一个限制性定从，那些one day还在竞争的公司。而B完全表达不出来这层含义，割裂了one day 和compete 的关系。
我记得prep语法笔记里无数次提到定语从句做定语与现在分词做定语的区别，有一点是：定语从句强调有一个具体的发生时间，而现在分词则强调一个经常的状况，这里的one day不是很明显的一个具体时间吗？可能有人会说这些公司以前竞争以后也继续有可能会竞争，但是这道题表达的意思明显没有考虑那么遥远，说的就是过去one day竞争的公司，未来怎样不关心。

可惜GWD-24给出的正确答案是B，说是99%的正确，看来一定是有最终讨论的结果了，拜求各位发给我一个最终有定论的讨论帖，我自己搜了半天的讨论帖都还是争论不休的~谢谢了！！这道题我已经想了快1个小时了……

B多平行的沃。。。

companies that compete我觉得不准确哈
准确的意思应该是，那些现在竞争着的公司，日后说不定就会成为伙伴。
用competing companies更好吧。。。

“在彼此竞争”只是一个状态而已撒，又不是公司的固有性质，为什么要用定语从句呢

比如一只正在雨中奔跑的白狐狸，你肯定是说a running white fox in the rain
                                                 怎么可能说a white fox that runs in the rain

比如你要描述睡美人，你肯定是说a sleeping beauty
                                  怎么可能说a beauty that sleeps

另外你说的A不平行指的是主句那个in the Internet industry放在句首了吗？

对滴哈。

而且A里面“companies that compete one day may be partners the next”也不平行

be也是parallel maker撒，从句和后面的partener平行不起来

B里面直接competing companies 和parteners平行，要不干脆把competing看成形容词算了= =||

应该不是这样，我觉得跟 one day 还有the next 有关系的吧，competing的话，感觉就是公司本身的性质了，而这里用了 one day，后面又用了 the next，这里的one day 其实是(过去)某一天的含义,另外如果用了 competing company的话，后面跟one day 怎么解释呢？过去某一天竞争的公司 下一步变成了合作者，不太合逻辑吧，再者如果把one day 理解成将来某一天的话，the next 不会多余吗？最后这道题答案是A吧，哪里说是B了？

有一个疑问哦 我觉得whereas引导结构只要核心词平行就可以啦

所以whereas在这里应该不存在问题

这题答案是A，遇到that is ，which is的选项要特别当心，往往是wordy。as competing companies不准确，由于competing和one day被companies隔开造成歧义。

是competing company 的问题

A 强调了公司现在在竞争可能未来某一天就会成为伙伴
B 改了之后就是竞争的公司可能会成为伙伴
从中文理解来是也许没差，但是仔细想主要是强调的现在在compete这个动词
