Wash Olin or Minnesota Carlson??

Hey there!  These two programs are VERY similar in terms of reputation.  So now we look to other areas.  First of all, location.  Do you want to be in the midwest or on the west coast?  Washington would put you in good shape to wind up in Seattle, or even SF or LA.  erhaps even Portland Oregon.  Any interest in these areas?  Wash U will put you in great shape for St. Louis and Chicago.  And interest in these areas?  This would impact your decision.  Also, have a peek at the starting salaries of both schools.  You will see that Olin ($90K) is a biiiiit lower than Carlson ($97K).  Thats a consideration as well.  And finally, Olin (which has a much bigger class) is known for its management program, while Carlson is not.  I know I havent answered the question for you.   But hopefully, this information helps YOU to make this difficult decision.  Congrats on all this success!

There might be a little confusion here.

WashU (Olin) is in saint Louis, not Seatle.the full name of WashU is Washington University in St.Louis.


The school in Seatle is University of Washington.  These are two different schools!

I think WashU is has been ranked in the top 20 for the past two years, but don't just make your decision purley on rankings though.
