请问各位牛牛

有人熟悉415条款的问题吗

小弟原本在415前已经接受了一个offer with funding

就在今天有一个我名单上面的top 1 choice 发了offer给我

因为这学校算是我的领域的top 1


但是因为之前已经接受了另外一间学校

不知道还能否接受这个offer 而不去另外一间学校

如果可以有人知道大概是这样运作的吗

知道这样很伤人品

毕竟圈子很小的


有人知道实际上要怎样运作吗

有可能最终去之后这个学校吗

The formal process should be descried on the official offer from  the school. It is on mine. As you said, the academic world is very small. Some (or many) professors are very serious about this problem. They think once you accepted an offer you should withdraw all your other applications, given the fact that legally you have the right to change your mind. If the new offer is from a very very big school, and you communicate with them well about why you want to change your mind,  then they may understand your decision. Anyway, you should carefully handle this situation. Good Luck.

你要是铁了心想去好的那个学校，就想个借口根你接受offer的学校说不去了，然后再接受那个好的学校offer就好了，其实教授根本不在乎录取的到底是谁，阿猫还是阿狗，对他们来说没有任何区别，几年以后他们就算记得这个事情，也根本不记得那个人了。

不过你要是想既能去那个好学校，又不伤人品，那是不可能的，没有既当~~又立~~的好事啊。
