但是不是很明白为什么这里用一般过去时：

难道说这里时态是由from...to...决定的？不是during....决定的？

during....是完成时态标志么？

首先我可以排除c.d.e，至于为什么，a.b更直接。。。。然后，b ,比较的对象错误，增长怎么可能与年份比较呢，所以答案为A。。。。考试哪有那么多时间分析。。。越简单越好。。。希望能帮上你。。。

during the 10,000 years "from the beginning of agriculture to 1950" 这段时间的开头是农业的开始期，结尾是1950年，比现在更早，当然是过去时了。不可能用现在完成时啦。 何况两段时间的比较。第一段是Between 1990 and 2000，第二段是during the 10,000 years "from the beginning of agriculture to 1950"。两个都是过去的。所以过去时。。。

然后呢 from the beginning of agriculture to 1950 是修饰这个 10,000years 的，是这从农业开始到1950年的10000年，你看看是不？然后it did的时间状语是during the 10000years，这样就应该用完成时了，不是吗？
