ok this is an *unfair* comparison (no offence). MIT mostly admits fresh grads who have no real w/e. coming out of the program and making 90k for their first ever jobs is not bad at all
Berkeley students have an average age of 29 a couple years ago and 27 this year. Some of them can be as old as 40. You don't know how much they were making before entering the program, maybe over 100k already. Based on the salary stats, it's impossible to tell how much value is really added through this program.
it's about "value-added" not the absolute salary numbers upon graduation.
