答案是B, 我选择的是E,理由是1. if 引导的句子，后面不是用would吗？2. they 指代的是carbon emissions，整句话很清晰啊，我想不明白为什么不选择E.

cde错，因为og中强调的一个句式： if x happens first，y will happen。
a错因为比较的是a level 而不是emissions，所以应该用that指代。

整个句子比较的是a level，而不是carbon emissions。

我本来也往CDE看。但发现后面的代词指代不妥。用THAT是同类指代。用IT,THOSE是同一个的指代。即一个模糊一个具体。题里比较的两者是不同年代的不是同一个
想起另外一道题。在美国被鲨鱼吃的人少于被蜜蜂吃的人。这里如果用THEY，或者THOSE的话，就好像那群人被鲨鱼吃了后又被蜜蜂蛰了。太倒霉了……所以这是一个我用来记忆代词的好玩题！哈哈
