关于as much as的用法

B选项中的is是不是也错了,可以直接用as much as emittd by the？

B中的as much compared to 是典型的错误，还可能会出现as much than这种莫名其妙的搭配，反正你看题的时候直接看搭配是否标准，不可能有混搭的现象出现。还有就是as和than 的比较结构中as  和than 可以做代词用。D中的that 代指total amount of pollutant,因为that是核心词指代，而it / they这种就是完全指代或者成为精确指代了。
