我听过讲解好像是A.但是理由不是很记得了。唉。
原文意思是他们在不会被提名的条件下讲话。
至于为啥是A不是C。有人说名字是不可能被使用的
但我想动词总比名词好。（老师说的）如果是一样的意思应该要选最简洁的吧。
我倒不懂虚拟不虚拟语气的。一切为语义服务！
本人也不是很确定，共同探讨吧！

这道题的话主要看时态，on condition that 引导条件状语从句if。前面是spoke后面不可能是一般将来时或者一般现在时吧
