这个题选择C  我想问一下and 后面resembling 与谁并列呢？
我感觉这个题选择E  因为定语从句有很好的修饰作用 并且显示出了“被发现” 的被动语态  可是又考虑到THAT 不能裸奔 并且THAT+IS 被视为不简洁  所以 即使看了CDerS 的解释后还是很纠结  请帮忙解答谢谢~~

但是在AND 前后found 与resembling 不并列啊 这个怎么解释呢？

并列不仅指的是形式上的并列，有时候还要看逻辑意思的。
prep语法笔记里这样解释：
正确选项C中两个分词之所以一个用-ed形式,一个用-ing形式是因为found表示了被动态:animal is
found in the Philippines，而resembling表示的主动语态:such animal resembles a hummingbird.（与
OG10-210题用法相同，可参考OG解释）

这题的分号用的真非主流啊。。有没有人对这个分号给个解释啊。。。一直以为分号前后必须是句子的啊。。

我觉得是题目本身的错误，应改为逗号，AND 后面的部分与前面的red tufts并列

分号主要用来连结句子，但在连结几个并列短语结构时，如遇某个短语结构中有逗号，则几个并列结构用分号连结。此题就是一个很好的例子：
1. shimmering metallic colors on its head  
2. a brilliant orange patch, bordered with red tufts, in the center of its breast  
3. a red eye
是3个并列短语结构，但是第二个短语中有逗号，因此3个并列结构之间就需要用分号连结。

这个分号的用法和汉语中的用法如出一辙。
