关于allow的时态突然发现有了合理的解释。我们一直都在讨论amount允许被倾倒啊等等，但是如果解释为这个that从句修饰的不是amount of phosphates而是phosphates。解释就合理了些。 og的解释也合理了。 就是若现在允许用are allowed，若现在不允许了就是were allowed。
各位指教。

我的理解是如果allow所在的从句的行为已经不在持续了就是were allowed，现在还在持续就用are allowed

that从句明显修饰amount. 不是说"amount允许被倾倒", 是说"amount被允许".

另外, OG这里的时态考法是比较出乎意料的, 包括OG的解释看上去也不太像语法题的解释.

这道题一开始我也做错过，后来看明白后，我的理解跟LZ有点靠近。

1972的agreement肯定是用reduced一般过去式；reduced 跟 amount搭配合理；dump的不是 amount而是 phosphates，所以that要紧跟phosphates；而至于allow，只要是现在都有效的，OG好像都偏向于用一般现在时，这是我一开始错的地方，现在一定要紧记了~
