It's very much related to where you want to work post MBA. If you dont wan to stay in the U.S., I believe some Euro schools are very good in terms of giving you an international perspective which I personally believe is critical for your personal as well as career development.
Thanks for replies. I prefer to work a few years in Europe post MBA. I'm thinking of changing function to strategy or M&A in Corporate. My current employer has departments with such functions and seems more fascinating to me. I hope that career target is realistic.
Going for a strategy position post MBA is of course possible if you go into a top school. I know a few of Chinese IMD grads working as an internal strategic consultants.
The only thing is, you'd better have Plan B cuz the whole Europe is now freezing in terms of employment, given its lousy economic growth. And you might change your idea when you eventually join the school.
