"the bulk of " 需要单数谓语？

题目的答案很明显，D是错误的。这里我想问的是，关于句子没有划线的的谓语动词是单数的is,这难道是因为the bulk of的关系？也就是说，所有的the bulk of以后都跟单数谓语？ 3ks
