Well, just as others have said, you should figure out whether you want to do research. I hope that it is not because you deem it as a "safe option". I am in NL, too. I do not think you cannot find a job in NL only because you do not know Dutch. I have many friends who are working in NL and know zero Dutch. Moreover, I have friends from UvT who found marvelous jobs in China, too. It really depends, now it seems. But I understand your worry. I had the same thing, too.
Zhang is quite right in terms of the PhD application. You have to know what options you have. If you want to do research, you have to learn what options there are and which option are suitable for you. For example, you should have heard of UvT if you are studying now in RSM. Advertise my own school, again, haha. Seriously, choose carefully. PhD is a big time investment. |
