Thank you! I know that it's hard to be part of politics, as after all i'm a foreigner (and I'm not interested in getting the green card or citizenship). It's hard to be get to the top in international court too, as it requires not only the academic background, but also a lot of experience in this field ( and I probably will be quite old at that time..sigh!) Since China has little interests in international law, and has not fully participated in many internaitonl courts, I think my prospects in international court is rather limited. However, I am very interested in international law, especially international criminal law, which is still developing now, so despite all sorts of difficulties ( and economic cost of course), I think it is worthwhile to be part of this evolving process. I do realize the limited potential of making a profit here..... but I guess I can still make a living with teaching in college (assuming i get a phd in international relation...) |
