B是正解。OG解释中说：
（B）correct。Pope's translation is described as a work.
为什么A中的work指代的是lliad，而B中的work指代的就是his translation of the lliad？
（B）中后面的pronounced又是什么成分，如果和took平行的前面应该有个that，如果和began平行前面应该有个and连接着，所以没想明白这个pronounced的主语是谁？

理解了！原来是这样~
一直把pronounced往前面安放，其实就是SP发出的，前面有逗号应该是因为那个插入语Pope’s contemporary。
