maybe you shouldn't have talked about your own education but his son's. you would probably end up with better understanding to his opinion on what is so "applicable" in china. guys like him are highly unlikely able to think in your shoes so what he said is hardly a valid reference to your personal development. and his manners sucks. don't ever never learn from him on that.

说到踏实创业工作 我很好奇 版上的朋友们会不会弃IB而选创业呢？

当然 在某个层次以上 例如是有很好的产品 很可观的前景 很创新的服务 很强大的资源 等等情况下 创业是个好选择 但是达到这个层次的创业毕竟是少的 绝大多数创业 是筚路蓝缕的 哪怕是很多很成功的创业者 在开始时也不敢想象自己能达到那个高度

那么 这样的话 大家还愿意创业么？ 这恐怕不能单纯以对知识不尊重来解释 或许是人们畏惧风险和未知的心理更妥当

他如果在Harvard期间仅仅是立志成为HBS MBA，
可能现在还在为GMAT和Essay、以及平衡学习和工作的时间而在苦苦发愁中

i think this 成功人士's comments could actually give us some food for thought:

we don't have to actually go 摆地摊 but it is always important to step out of one's comfort zone and to challenge conventions if we wanna bring our career and success to a higher level, isn't it?

假设我拥有你说的条件，我可以说“我愿意”，只要能让我看到“可观的前景”，丧失年薪百万又如何？

回到主题，如果摆地摊能让我看到“可观的未来”，那将是一件很创新的事情
