It depends. I've gotten various different answers from different schools. Some schools differentiate based on nationality or residency or college alma mater location. For people with green cards, it's usually your alma mater location that decides which pool you are in. For example, I have an R.O.C. passport, green card, and bachelors degree from Taiwan: 1) at Haas, I'm considered international since my undergrad is in Taiwan 2) at McCombs, I'm considered local since my permanent residency is in the U.S. 3) at INSEAD, I'm considered Taiwanese despite my U.S. residence status You really have to check with each school's admissions office to figure it out. -- by 会员 csbowow (2011/2/15 23:15:29)
