Hey there! So there are essentially two main rules of being waitlisted. First, always follow directions! So if they say (as Wharton does) that they do not want ANY new info, then do not submit any of course. So first of all, do what NYU tells you to do. Once we are sure that we are allowed to submit additional work, you will wanna be in front of them every 3-4 weeks or so with an update. Either an additional essay addressing something that was missing from your app, or even a letter updating the adcom on your progress since submitting (cool stuff you’ve done at work, extra currics, retaken tests, etc.) And you will also want to find someone ELSE to write a recommendation for you.   erhaps a current Stern student, or an alum? All these things will strengthen your application. Congrats on one small step forward! Good luck.
