I am sending this message to inform you that we will be unable to announce admission decisions in the first round of applications for the MS/Finance program at Olin Business School on January 21, 2011, as originally planned. This year's applicant pool is much larger than a year ago, and this requires considerably more time in evaluating applications and making admission decisions.
Furthermore, the finance faculty at Olin are considering changes in the MS/Finance curriculum at the present time that we believe will significantly strengthen the program for students who are admitted. We need to postpone finalizing admission decisions until these curriculum changes have been fully approved.
We hope to be able to communicate admission decisions for the first round of applicants in early February. We thank you again for your interest in Olin, and for your patience with our admission process.
