我也是发了好久都没人回呢~5555，可能NN们都很忙吧。
我觉得B当中的his 会让读者误解，是Davy的，还是后面那个人的。
since 在这里应该是介词吧，自。。。以后。
比如：This year's federal deficit is already predicted to be the highest in relation to the economy since World War Two.(这是网上的句子)

可我还是觉得since+sb怪怪的，所以想知道它的用法。我觉得following用的很对啊，尤其跟since相比起来，那你选的哪个啊？

since可做介词和连词，不仅能接句子，还能接词组或者短语。但是这里，我感觉a critique of all chemistry since Robert Boyle as well as a vision of a 这个句子中，Robert Boyle后面是不是省略了（had found）?还原了应该是: a critique of all chemistry since Robert Boyle had found as well as……这样才能解释为什么since后面接sb.?如果是省略了，那以什么依据来省略呢？
