哥大所在的colunbus circle是黑人区 不是富人区

Columbus Circle is one of the richest area in Manhattan. It has three Michelin 3-star restaurant, some high end store/hotel and luxury residential building.


Columbia is located in Harlem area. Actually west side of Columbia is not that bad (most student dorm and professor apartment are there) but east side is a famous African american area.

Columbus circle has been a historically notorious black area. Ask any New Yorker and they will tell you that. Nowadays Columbia's campus is generally safer than its surrounding area, thanks to the efforts of the school's authority. But just further up on the 125 street is the notorious harlem district and down on the 95 street it's not very safe as well. I lived at Columbus Circle for a whole summer. You can still see suspecious ganster activities in that area from time to time.

话说我往南坐 就是一条橘红色的线好像。地铁真是够破的 和我国没法比的。庆幸是是下午3点左右，地铁人不多。

但是Manhattan地铁实在是太错综复杂了 换乘方式和国内地铁不同 好像跟日本是一样的 就是不同的车停特定的站 具体我忘记了 反正当时我是很不明白

这里插一个沉重的话题
每次我在这边问路，对方的热情和耐心一方面使我非常感动，另一方面使我想到国内的现状 有点受触动。

判断一个国家一个民族是否真正强大，去问问路就知道了。

上面的话题大家可以思考一下。为什么在态度上会有很大的差别。

我身上有的指路设备就是个全城街道图而已 所以我挑了个旁边是地铁地图的座位

除了布鲁克林哪里都安全...强烈建议女孩子不要自己从JFK机场飞.......

这个就是瞎讲了。第一，Downtown布鲁克林还是很不错的，Bay Ridge那里也好。第二，就是曼哈顿也有无数危险的地方。第三，机场都不能飞了？下了飞机反正是打车。

您是有钱人...我是穷学生...只坐得起地铁..而且我说的是女孩子自己一个人不要这么走..从JFK做公车换地铁到Downtown的可怕经历我可不想再来了...
