and/but/yet ,连接两个完整的句子, 如果第二套主谓和第一套相同, 可以省略吗?
我记得是可以省略的,(不知道我记得有没有问题), 但是,当我做到 OG11- 97题的时候, 官方解释是要有第二套主谓(they are). 请大家帮忙解惑!! yet后面的主谓到底可不可以省略? 什莫时候可以省略?

如果主语谓语一致的话是可以省略的。And, But比较常见，我就差了一下Yet的用法。
Yet
   表示连词的时候,常以连接一个事物两个相互矛盾的方面
 博冰上给的例子是
     They are the same, yet not the same.
          （可见Yet之后的主语和谓语是可以省略的。）
A. The stars, some of them at tremendous speeds, are in motion just as the planets are,yet being so far away from the Earth that their apparent positions in the sky do not change enough for their movement to be observed during a single human lifetime.

这边的主语不是are.所以不能省略。

B Like the planets, the stars are in motion, some of them at tremendous speeds, but they are so far away from the Earth that their apparent positions in the sky do not change enough for their movement to be observed during a single human lifetime.

句子成分很完整

请问, yet 后的主谓是什莫呢?

楼主要分清主次呀……
这道题根本不是省略的问题，而是as 和like的比较。GMAT中，as：作为（是一类） like:像（不是一类）
所以，此题类比时，所有用as的全错 star不是planet
C altought后面不能接but yet however等转折连词，因为although本身就是连次，会导致没有主句
E which指代不清，star 还是planet

A) yet being, being没有意义
B）句子完整，逻辑顺畅
C) 结构变成 although the stars are in motion, yet so far away... 缺主句。但就从句的来讲，结构上没错。
D) as+n  错。
E) which指代planets还是stars，有疑义；而且改变句子原意。
