Then it should at least let the candidate have the interview before sending out the rejection letter.

Well, wouldn't it make more sense for CBS to simply send a ding letter instead of an interview invitation if she had indeed decided to reject someone? I don't think anyone's been completely rejected if he/she has received an interview. To be fair, there are dead meat walking into interviews everywhere, but I will bet 1000 bucks that you would rather recieve a dead meat interview than a down right rejection. A school has to be at least somewhat interested in you if it decides to grant you an interview, which, believe me, does cost the school in some way. -- by 会员 samwzhang (2010/12/25 21:17:30)
