1. or -> to  这个好像不是什么语法点吧，或者是介词or 和to 的意思辨析？

2. a    语法点好像是动词进行时做主语的用法吧

第一个选择第四个.AS TWICE AS这么用是不行的.这个题答案好像选择C或者什么.反正答案不对.新东方老师讲过这个题.(TORONTO)

第二个没有什么可以讲的了.就是第一个啊.

请版主解释时强调一下是哪个知识点！谢谢！！

第一题我就不说了，
第二题你可以这样，把所有的修饰成分去掉，就变成了：
Railroads stimulated industry.
楼主可以看出来现在的句子已经完整了，也就是说主谓宾都有了。
这样的话，空格中就应该是修饰成分，就只能选A了。

1,  考的是比较级的用法，twice as... as

2，看你能不能分析句子，找出主语、谓语
