Dear MSF Applicant,



Thank you for applying to the Master of Science in Finance Program at the George Washington University School of Business. We have received your application; however, we cannot refer it to the admission committee for evaluation until you have completed 16 years of education and graduated, and until we have received your final official transcript and diploma, or at least after receiving a sealed letter from the university registrar stating EXACTLY that you "have successfully fulfilled ALL the requirements for the four-year undergraduate degree (including the thesis or dissertation, if any) that you will receive in June."



If, by June 2011, there is still space available, you will stand a chance of being admitted for fall 2011. Please keep in mind, though, that we have been receiving an increasing number of applications this year from a group of highly qualified individuals for a limited number of spaces in our entering class.  Utilizing previous academic performance records, prior full-time work history, the personal statement, letters of recommendation, and standardized test scores, the members of our Admission Committee seek to admit those students who present a portfolio of academic strengths and personal achievements which will complement the depth and breadth of our current and incoming students.



In case you would like to be reconsidered for next year, just let me know and I will defer your application; you will still need to reapply and repay the application fee next year, though; but the good news is that we will use the documents that we have for you, except if they have expired.
