Have to agree with NewLifeK, so what you really wanna do?
I think you should start figuring it out in order to plan your career and how MBA is going to help.
If you are working in advisory-consulting in PwC, then the consulting path looks reasonable since you are already doing similar thing, just at a lower paltform, top MBA might bring you to a better platform such as M/B/B.
If you are doing advisory-deals, then the IBD path actually make sense and you will need MBA to get into Morgan Stanley or Goldman.
I think a recognizable name will definitely boost your chances. In the mean time, you should definitely sharpen your case interview skills if you plan to go into consulting. Some big name consulting firms actually ain't that difficult to get in so you might want to give those a shot. (Think IBM, Accenture...) Being a goal oriented person I assume you are prepared to put up with crappy life-career balance and etc. IB is all about connections, and if you don't have that, I'd say you have relatively slim chances. Although research jobs could open up for you. I think being an outspoken female (this I am assuming from your post) will put you at somewhat of an advantage over us guys so I would suggest that you fully exploit that. Be proactive in networking, jobs and etc. Good luck!
