I once think about that as well. But at the end of day, I decide to apply PhD directly. It's a little bit 心力憔悴 to 跳来跳去.

So where are you now? And how much chance do i have to get an offer from certain school ranked from 50-100? Or any suggestion abt school selection?

#1. I said I will apply phd directly; #2. I don't know; #3. no idea the thing is I feel you are over-qualify for a master in econ in duke or nyu, what do you think? I don't know you, you should know yourself better.

No idea since i've never thought of attending econ master program. And under this cirsumstance i could hardly pinpoint my odds of being admitted by any decent econ program, not to say a highly selective Duke's program. Yet I do have a clue on my application on other fields such as FE and Stat cuz I've familiarized muself with'em since long ago.
