现在分词局尾表伴随的疑问

若选分词，则其修饰“Mohammed the Conqueror, the Turkish sultan”；但由于theTurkish sultan是when从句主语，而分词又表示伴随状况，因此整个从句的意思就变成了: the Turkish sultan攻占Athen的同时还建造了a mosque in the building 并将Acropolis用作fortress

I think it should be judged on a case-by-case basis. example, OG253,the 'slowing' is not modifying the 'analysts' - subj or the 'sales' -obj, but the 'weather'. I also tried to find the rules, anyone canshare his/her findings? Thanks!

1. In my opinion, "distinguish / differentiate A from B" is almost equal to "distinguish / differentiate between A and B." isn't is? Different uses are based on different contexts, I guess.

2. I think "还是象某些大虾经常所指示的根据具体句意判断" is correct. well, it might be confused sometimes.

In my view,    distinguish/differentiate A from B   与distinguish/differentiate between A and B还是有一点点区别的。

such as:  Language distinguish human from animal.

               We should distinguish between right and wrong.

一般A和B是意义上平行的话，用后者。
