GPA不高写optional essay解释可取否？

学校都会说可以在optional essay里面解释一下异常的情况嘛，我觉得应当正面理解这种要求，解释一下，总比被人猜疑好吧。我也问了老美，他们说按他们的逻辑，Optional essay就是来解释这些的，对我不想写的想法非常不理解，呵呵。

Yes! This is exactly the time when you should write an optional essay. If your GPA is lower than 3.1 or so on a 4 point scale, then you should explain it. You should of course do it confidently and as quickly as possible. But get in there, and explain why it happened.

oint to your GMAT, your work experience—all that stuff. And then, you should be just fine. Hope this helps!
