Les,我还是不明白为什么用went，而不用was

对不起jeremy，这点偶也讲不太清楚，只是遵照了XDF的一条理论：

come, go, become, remain等表动态过程的系动词尽量保持。一般与be互换是错误的。

E的although和D的but意思相同，但彼此表达是不同的，两者强调的方面不同，根据A可知，D的but更好；关于go的用法，LES4楼的帖子应该算是一个合适的解释了。
