By watching this kind of media, people get information about the outworld, enjoy the entertainment, get education and so on.
At the begining of the TV history, news were the only content showed on the television. Today, there are so many kinds of program, hovever, news, which provide us things happening in the other parts of world still make up the majority of the whole programs. Further more, some other programs, like Discovery, give us another way to approach the information not just news but also about the rest of the world. Just sit infront of the television, you are enabled to get knowledge covers form literature to physics, which would made you crazy seraching books in the library before the television came out.
On the other hand, TV creadted another way to get entainment. More than half of the contents showed on the screen are programs which are produced in order to make the viewer happy. Movies, Live-shows, sports, as well as advertisements, make us laugh and give us freshments. Acting as a improtant tool for people to get joyment, TV had already became a essential appliance to every family.
Do not forget that TV, nowdays, were also been used as a educational media which cost little but have a vast-rage influence. No matter will you are and what level you are, simply turn on the TV, numerous education programs are aviable. It is specially improtant for those who can not go to ordinary school or afford the tution or time consuming school schedule.
So, we finally arrive at the conclusion, the television has irreverselly changed almost every aspects of our life, even it may has some bad factors, such as violence movies can be seen by the children, we still have to make it better.
2。该给朋友借钱吗？
Although this kind of things is unavoidable, as far as I am concerned, I still believe that borrowing money form (or lending money to) a friend can harm or damage the friendship. On one hand, it seems to be absurd: how can that be called friendship when one is in trouble but you leave him alone to face it? However, on the other hand, I totally agree that borrowing (lending) money is a tremendous risk to the friendship.
To begin with a story, which one happened to me in person. Tom was one of my friends. One day, he came to me for he was in short of money. He said I was the first one came into his mind and he will return it in no time. Because of trust, although I did not know what it for is, I agreed. And I made a really bad decision, we did not write down a contract.
Things never come to as simple as they were seemed to be. When the deadline came, he told me he had no money. No doubt, it made me very upset. He promised again to do his best to make up the loan. At that moment, I still had not realized our friendship was dying, although somebody told me that he cost all his money on chasing girls.
He did give back some of the money, less than one to ten. At last, he even argued that he had never borrowed money from me! So, that is the end of our friendship. I did what I can to help you just because I did not want to disappoint you, how can you disappoint me? Till now, I still can not figure out why he could do this to me?
After this case, I became very cautious when lending money to anyone; I just do not want to lose another friend. It is an embarrassment not only to the creditor but also to the debtor. Nevertheless, when someone comes to me for some real troubles, I lend a hand, because friendship means overcome difficulties together. All in all, it is a complex problem to face.
3。好的邻居有什么素质？》
No matter where you live, an apartment in the skyscraper or a house located in uptown, you must have got neighbors. Because we are so close to each other, our lives are significantly influenced by them. And for this reason, in my point of view, it can be wonderful to have neighbors with such qualities: consideration, will to help, honesty and so on.
As far as I am concerned, consideration should be the most important characteristic, for it is the basis of a pleasant neighbor ship. There is no doubt that without this, neighborhood could be a real nightmare. In a lot of cases, for instance, decoration, watching TV, holding a party, may cause noises or some other things that would eventually disturb your neighbors or you. However, these things are inevitable for everybody may have to do them. So, here comes the controversy, and the only way to solve this kind of problem is communication, which requires both sides hold a considerate thinking. I totally believe that almost every problem can be settled if we all have reasonable thinking and that is why I put it first.
However, consideration is just the first step to achieve satisfactory relationships among neighbors. Our final aim is to build a sentimental environment in which everyone donates to the community and benefits from it. In another word, we have to do more. That is what we call aids. It is hard to say when you may be in need of aids and how much your aids can benefit the others. Aids strengthen our relations and so make hard easy. To quote from a proverb, “Far away living relatives are not as helpful as the neighbors.” That is true. When you are in emergency, the first one can stand out to give you a hand at the very time is your neighbor. If we all assist our neighbors with all we can do, it is no doubt that we will get a better life.
Honesty is another personality which contribute to a perfect neighbor. A man with this means reliability: We can simply leave one of our keys to them, in case of lost it.
As the discussion above, to live with a good neighbor can be both joyful and convenient, that explain why we are always talking about this issue. By being considerate, willing to help, honest of ourselves, the whole society could become better and better.
4。选择报纸还是电视作为新闻来源。
Nowadays, with the development of the information transmission, we are exposed to such a environment in which we can get news by plenty of ways: newspaper, radio, television, internet, etcetra.
Some people prefer the traditional way: papers, while others intend to listen to the radio watch television. Frankly, I have to confess that every method has its own advantages and disadvantages, for this reason, in my opinion, none of them will be replaced by others and they will coexist for a long time in the future. How ever, when talking about my favorite, I would rather choose the newspapers as my source of news.
In my point of view, people who like papers mostly because of the feeling of the real paper, so do I. Compared with listening radio or watching TV, reading gives us a feeling of contacting something real. I can hold a paper and keep reading it for a whole day, on the contrast, only a few minutes sitting infront of the television. Although by so many ways can we get informed, papers still play the most significant role, as far as I can say, the following reason might be the most possible one: touching the paper is really a enjoyment.
A big problem for the newspaper, which can not be changed, is its slowness. However, this disadvantage also renders the papers a outsanding advantges, the deepth of the article. The radio can give you live reports, but little of the contents touch the soul of the events, at least in my eyes. At the same time, papers are usually full of information about the background and the sight. Because before they come into print, they have been carefully examined and well organized to reveal the events they covered. So, what we can get from other media such as television and radion, comparing with the papers, are somewhat superficial. A little slow, but more informative. This makes papers unreplaceable in this era in which people concern more about the essence of the news.
There are still lots of reasons such as convenience and price contribut to the popularity of the newspaper. In the foreseeable future, papers will still serve us as the prominent medium of news.
