OG对B的解释有这样一句话：

In choice B, the definite article the needlessly suggests that some previously mentioned type of pressure is being referred to

说the表示这个名词前面提及过，可是，综观整个题目，使用the的地方太多了，这些名词都有提及过吗？例如本题的第一个单词就是the，这个decision有什么地方地方提及过？

The decision 特指对象应该是在下文（即限制性修饰成分）。

你一定有了更多的问题，偶也是 。但冠词非常复杂，因为定冠词可以特指，也可以类指，偶也无法说清楚，建议你看一看语法书关于冠词的用法，会有帮助。章振邦老先生主编的《新编英语语法》第三版很好。如没有，薄冰的《高级英语语法》也不错。

个人观点，The decision by one of the nation’s largest banks ，有by这个介词所以，decision 从属one of the nation’s largest banks ，decision是特指加the.。pressure on multigovernment lenders 尽管有介词on，但不表明此时的pressure是从属于multigovernment lenders ，更多的是强调外来的pressure加于multigovernment lenders ，而且此前也未提及这个pressure，故不加the。

我曾经在这里看见一个回复帖子说名词前面的the只有两种情况是对的：

1、这个名词前面提过

2、这个名词后面有限制性定语从句修饰

不知道你们有没有见过，怎么评论。

另外，还有一个解释不同的地方，就是如果上面的解释成立的话，那么为什么less lending的前面不加上the呢，因为后面有by介词啊。

所以题目中都没有加上the，为了实现perfect parallelism，在increasing的前面就不应该加上the

我还有个问题就是这里：increase是否可以和mean相paralle，如果不行为什么？如果行的话，是否increase pressure是正确的？

偶觉得判断这题是否用“the”的关键是“less lending”前是否有限定词，因为并列结构中有一个原则：泛指不能与特指并列。

但是也要注意一种省略结构：the + 名词1 and 名词2，这是在名词2前省略了限定词，而不是前面是特指，后面是泛指。

那我想问的是OG为什么不对ADE的the也作相关的解释呢，ADE中的the 算不算特指，还是DE中的分词结构对他做了限定，就可以加了呢

the怎么这么疑惑？

感觉是因为ADE中有其它更严重的错误, 而这些错误就已经让他们不能成为候选的答案了.
