Yes! This is exactly what you should do—list the person that you spoke with, and tell us everything relevant about the conversation. It will show the admissions people that you are taking their school seriously, and that you are trying hard to research their program. They only want to accept people who will GO once they are accepted, so if you don’t do a good job of convincing the adcom that you ARE passionate about the school, then you will have trouble getting in.
