Do you really think so? My got my  undergraduate degree in china and my current accounting master degree from very normal university. where are you study now?

那lz比我强多了，应该去前30的学校。TAMU faculty貌似就有人大校友。

我在一个30-50的program，我本科和master都是普通学校，成绩也一般（相对于lz的“第一”和4.0来说）。去年申请30-60的学校也拿了几个面试。lz完全可以申前30。

去年一个suffolk的中国女孩申请TAMU也拿到面试了，本科人大文科的。您还人大博士呢~

我本科法律+商科，master会计，我面试过UTD，当时有两个老师跟我提过他们担心我数学不够好

我觉得数学对于我确实是一个issue，如果重来，我会多申请做tax的学校

My current master of accouting is at UTSA. Some people said usually people can only got Ph.D offer from university lower ranked than your current school. Is that really true? this is a huge constraint to me. UTSA is really not good ,but the competion here is still very high.
