lz自己现在在做什么研究呢？

since I changed my major from law to accounting, the deparment required me to take a lot of undergraduate accouting courses.I did not have change to do some real research yet.

Do you means University of north Texas. It may a good choice for me, since one of our teachers was graduated from this university and I am taking his class right now. Do you know the ranking about UTSA ,UTD,  UT Arilington,and UNT?

我刚开始读博士，还没定方向呢。如果你家人在UTD，你去UNT也蛮好的，都在大达拉斯地区，三四十分钟车程。

申tax方向很合适啊，申的中国人又少，避开竞争。tax挺好找工作的，每年market上做tax的人也就十个左右。

试一下houston，uconn，unt之类的学校？

BTW，我本科也法学背景的~

in my understanding, UTD > UNT > UTSA, UTA。不过其实差别不大啦，如果你不是想去research school的话，读哪家都差不多。如果想去research school，可能得申TAMU，Austin。UTD毕业去research school也不是很容易，每年毕业三四个人就一两个能去

还可以申ou，离dallas挺近的，ou有个五年级的中国女孩已经有一篇incoming的accounting review了

I do not  think my backgroud is good enough for TAMU and UT Austin. I just wanna to got a decent job after graduation. My wife has already focus too much on her post doc, we need one person spend more time on the family. However, this might be the last time I pursue a degree in my life( I have got too many degrees), I have to try my best to get a better one as far as I can.

我觉得lz可以试一下TAMU啊，你都已经有一个博士学位了。BTW，您的博士是国内名校拿的吗？

I got my master and doctor of economic law from ,Renmin University of China ( I believe it is the best law school in china). I am not sure if this is a plus

那lz比我强多了，应该去前30的学校。TAMU faculty貌似就有人大校友。
