[求助]这样的GMAT成绩能不能申请Top10

i scored 680 and my tofel is only 610, i was interviewed by all top 5 school, got admission from wharton and mit.

if i were you, i'll spend the time sweating about my essay and other pieces rather than gmat.  it's really just one piece of your whole package, i know top schools ding lot of "800" every year, so as long as you're over 650, you had demostrate your academic ability.  stop nagging about it.

GMAT 720 will not prevent you from getting into any top 10 program. Once you pass the first round screening(based on GPA and GMAT), working experience, essays, and extra-curriculum activities will become the decisive factors.

My GMAT is 680, and I am in at Kellogg this year. The key is to differentiate yourself from the application pool. Dig something unique from your background, then put it in the essays.

People who have not yet started their applications tend to care their G/T/GPA scores. However, those who have been both rejected and later admitted know the whole process most clearly. I am the example. I used the same scores and applied to the same schools in consecutive two years, and the result was that I got the admission this year rather than only being waitlisted last year. I think my experience has cleared everything for you. BTW, my GMAT is lower than you, but the school is good.

If your GPA is lower than 3.0, there might be kind of trouble.  My advice is to apply several schools of different tiers, for example, 2 top 10, 2 top 20, 2 top 30

i really don't want to enter the schools which below top ten for what i need are the repution and the chance that to communicate and collabrate whith the namely high quallity classimates.  my future career purpouse is to set up my owner company by the means of risk investment . therefore , the ideal schools for me are Standford and MIT . but i know that not every thing will runs as i want to be , hence , could you give some advice that which one school is appropriate for me . and i am puzzle that whether i should retake the GMAT for a high score so that will beneifit my application . i mean , the high score such as above 720 will cut down the weak of low GPA .

you ambition is encouraging. I think probably a GMAT score that is above 750 will be more eye-catching for your background and aspiration. However, just as somebody said before, it depends.

BTW, since you plan to set up your own company instead of joining a top-tier consulting firm or I-Bank, why must you enter such B-schools as Stanford or MIT? I think some other schools have the same qualities without the same requirements.
