作文: 95.Some people think governments should spend as much money as possible exploring outer space (for example, traveling to the Moon and to other planets). Other people disagree and think governments should spend this money for our basic needs on Earth. Which of these two opinions do you agree with? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.
Should governments spend as much money as possible exploring outer space or should spend this money for our basic needs on earth? Before rendering my opinion, I think it is important to take a glance at the arguements on both sides. Different people have different opinions. The choice, nevertheless, is not easy to make. However, I shall agree that what governments should spend this money for our basic needs on earth is more reasonable. In the following discuss, I will reason and provide evidence to discuss my viewpoint.
No issue is more important than this one that there are a wealth of poor people in the world. Facts witness and present many examples as below: in ottawa every time when I walked on the way to down town, I alway can see a wealth of poor people who want people sympathize them and give them money. In canada everybody pay high tax to canadian government, so governments should use these money to improve the life quality of poor people and to construct some shelters for those poor people. What make me so angry is recently prime minister of canada Paul Martin stolen a lot of money from taxpayer CBCnews said. Prime minister would use these illegal money to enjoy by himself or give his friends rather than use these money to improve the life quality of poor people. So I think canadian government should truly spend these money for poor people and consider their situation. I think there are no better examples than these ones to demonstrate this point more clearly.
The fact that everyday environment is polluted by releasing poisonous gas from factory and releasing the wasted gas from mobiles in the world is another head and chief reason I have chosen to put here. Recently about environmental pollution, it is too impatient to wait to need solve issue. With the advent of environmental pollution, more and more animals and forests are hardly extinct. If government does not pay attention to protect enviroment, after twenty years maybe our offspring are going to see nothing when they walk in the forest. Obviously it is very important that government should spend money to improve our environment and earth. If you can see it, you can understand it more deeply.
Admittedly, there is no denying that phenomena of crime in society is high frequency in certain circumstances. For examples before a few days in toronto one person actually opened the window and then stolen a sleeping young chinese girl at night for coming down on money form child's parent, next day this person given girl's parent a phone call and let them take money and come to exchange their child CBCnews said. Another event is also from toronto, due to flooding of illegal weapon, more and more people can so easy to purchase a gun in the market cause anywhere somebody shoot somebody for fun or exciting and even you never know where the bullet comes from when you walk on the road if someday shoot you. Like these events, they may occur at any moment in our life. If governments can not spend more money and manpower to control increasing of these phenomena, undoubtedly, our safe life is not going to guarantee.
To sum up, given the reason discussed above, which sometimes intertwine to form an organic whole and thus become more persuasive, I totally agree that goverments should spend this for our basic needs on earth rather than spend as much as money possible exploring outer space(for example, traveling to the Moon and to other planets) .
