问个关于GMAT和GPA的问题，麻烦大家帮忙解答

GPA是不是一般来说3以上就不会有大问题？我虽然是3以上但是有一门数学特别不好。。不知道是不是最好解释一下？我的GMAT是760，不过AWA因为当天一紧张还差一个单词写完就时间结束了，所以只有4.5。。不知道这个因为时间不够导致的低AWA是不是还有必要在additional information里面再解释一下？

麻烦有经验的朋友帮忙指点一下，万分感激！！

Both are OK.
Not everybody is good at Math, since you have 760 in GMAT, the math won't be a problem.

谢谢！我现在特别纠结会不会解释了以后弄巧成拙，不过也看到很多指导书籍里面说如果你有某一个环节不是很好，最好都和adcon解释一下，免得他们因为这个而拒绝你。。

Hey there, happy to answer this question for you.  So long as your GPA is a 3.0 you should be just fine.  Yes, you should likely explain what happened in the optional essay.  And that is the toughest one of the bunch to write!  Because on the one hand, we need to be very confident in our responses (and not write for 500+ words!)  But on the other hand, you WILL need to explain why you got some bad grades, and why you had trouble on your AWA.  Just a few sentences would be fine.  Something like, “Yes I had some trouble with AAA and BBB.  But as you can tell from my GMAT and my work experience, I am very smart.  So don’t worry about it.”  Of course you would use your own words, but that is the point that you need to convey. I don't think she should write the optional essay, her GMAT tells that she is good at Math.
