我想明白了，OG 上的解释说了 the Verb ‘ may lay’ is transitive【及物动词】, requiring a direct object，根据这个知识点，ABE都可以排除了，因为 它们后面接了介词IN，
PS，因为may后面接的是动词原形，所以这里的Lay肯定不是  lie的过去分词
