I share a very similar profile with you. In my humble opinion, the quality of education in China still got some catching up to do. It lags behind the top US schools by a visible margin. If you want to apply for schools in China, I would assume the decision is based on the plan to building a local business network and learning to navigate the chinese business network. If this is the case, shouldn't you apply to the Chinese school that offers the highest percentage of local students? With your background, meeting and interacting with the chinese student are part of that "internationalization" ?

Choosing between CEIBS and US B-schools is a hard decision for me. I will sure to take that into consideration.

学历：南开大学计算机系本科，GPA:3.7(北大算法)，院系排名应该在第三
工作经验：8年工作经验，其中华为（电信行业）工作6年，1年研发，5年Marketing，主要负责产品规划工作，面向全球市场；1.5年海外（印度）工作经验，10年8月辞职，因为个人家庭原因目前赋闲在家。
GMAT:690
读MBA的目标：因为我已有5年的MKT工作经验，所以后续的职业规划也想延续MKT的路线，补足财务等方面的知识，毕业后的方向想偏Strategy。

问题：
申请中欧可能性是否大，有什么短板？
10年8月辞职后没有上班，是否会有影响
是否需要参加Toefl考试

1、可能性大，短板 GMAT一般，管理能力未体现，工作有中断
2、有影响，需要说明

我知道的几位包括:
公司委派, HK management consulting, HK big4 risk management
另外,3年左右工作经验的还有
US IT industry, 国内(包括香港) big4, 国内top2学校毕业后汽车行业海外工作, 国内top5学校毕业外企marketing(excellent CSR work background).
