如果成绩单上完全剔除学过的机械工程的那大堆现在看来毫无意义的课程，我GPA估计有3.9+了，可是现实没有如果，现在能体会我的感受了么？SIGH...

e，不好意思不好意思呢，本来我的帖子中是说想冲刺University of Chicago， cornell， Carnegie Mellon这三所，然后用UCLA跟密歇根做最差打算的。
所以前几楼的回复中普遍对楼主的冲刺目标表示鸭梨比较大，不太现实，于是乎呢，楼主就勇敢的面对现实了，修改了帖子，专注目光于UCLA以及密歇根的行情资讯。
结果后来大家都不来管楼主了，很悲催呢。

The programs you mentioned are very different from each other, some are more practical, some are more programming, some are more math, etc.  -> you get my point.

You can apply to all, who knows for sure, there is always a possibility to get in, the question is how much? No one can really answer  you except the admissions.

Second, if you think ucla or umich are much easier to get in and are your safe bet, you might be disappointed.

Besides, it doesn't seem you care for the actual MFE program anyway, if you just want brand-name, apply to those much easier to get-in engineering major master, the probability is definitely higher than MFE.
