请教：Gmat二战比一战低很多，申请应该如何应对

去年考了一次730，前几天二战不知怎么着才600出头，虽然学校都说会看最高成绩，但是第二次这个分数会不会被学校评估。在essay里面需不需要特别说明？

如果是这么大的反差，建议你还是在optional essay里解释原因。

Hello there--happy to answer your question. We have good news for you! Yes, the 730 will mean far more than the 600. In your Optional Essay, you will need to address this issue however. Every application has an Optional Essay, where you have the chance to address unique aspects of your application. And this GMAT issue, in your case, would be very unique! In just 200 words or so, explain why you retook the test, and why you did so poorly on it. Hopefully, you have a reasonably good excuse! And assuming you do, the 730 will be the more important score by far. If you can write the Optional Essay the right way, you should not have trouble here.
