Hi, Jon, the information is very useful for me. But I was wondering how you define "creative". I searched J. Maarten Troost but couldn't find table of contents. Could you provide a link or briefly demonstrate his works? High appriciate! -- by 会员 yoshimihoku (2010/10/1 21:20:47)
Hey there! Yes of course, I would be happy to share some examples of creativity in this context. One easy way to be creative would be to talk about the future. That would be the part of your book where, for example, you switch to fiction. Could be neat to write an account of your future, when it hasn’t happened yet. Another way to be creative here is to come up with an interesting title for the book. And perhaps if you only are doing your life to date, 25-30 years or so, that could be “volume one of three” or something. Ha! That could be fun. Or…perhaps you could use some small pictures in the book? Small icons at every chapter? You could maybe write it in shakespearian English. Well that’s a stretch. But you get the idea—they WANT you to be creative. That’s why they didn’t ask you the same stupid question everyone else did…
Good luck my friends!
