看了题解，感觉蛮奇怪的：为什么38要findings这个名词来为consistent提供解释对象？而39题直接用protecting来说明animal-hide shields with wooden frames的作用？难道形容词必须找个名词做依托？分词结构就能直接对前句进行解释了？prep笔记中只收了39题的说。。。求助与各位大大们。。。

(B) Baltic Sea sediments, where the growth of industrial activity is consistent with these findings----这里也反了一个同样的问题，就是where到底是指哪里，按它紧跟着sediments的形式，就变成了修饰和指代sediments，sediments本身怎么会有工业增长呢。
(C) Baltic Sea sediments, findings consistent with its growth of industrial activity----这个选项还是比较接近答案的，但是它的its没有可指代的东西

38题最后的部分是一个同位语，逗号之前的部分其实都差不多，主要看逗号后面的部分。这两道题确实有相似之处，但是findings是个名词，在这里做同位语用，而下面的protecting是分词，做定语用，还是有一些差别的。这题使用同位语的好处体现在，清楚地摆出了两个相比较相对应的对象 findings和 growth.

39题，最后的这个部分是用来修饰和进一步详述 animal-hide shields 的。
