对于答案的选择我没有异议，但是有没有人觉得题目中的定语从句简化后是enzymes are attempt逻辑不对劲？
我觉得应该是是production of enzymes这个过程才是attempt，enzymes本身就是attempt很难理解啊

还是我的理解在哪里有偏差？

我明白你的意思啦，只有production才是attempt，都有动词的涵义，而enzymes本身是个名词，似乎逻辑上有欠妥。查了一下：

首先这里的attempt是名词，然后我认为enzymes are organism’s attempt，这样会不会好理解，个人愚见
