我选C，adj+N,和前面平衡了。似乎可以说the increased pressure, 没有说the increaing pressure.

不必对increased钻牛角尖。 increased做形容词用 就等于 larger或者more的意思，less对more，不是刚好对上了吗？对于这种词汇，不要先从动词变格出发。先从最简单的含义出发，反而更容易理解。

increasing 不表示more,而是more and more，与本题文义不符。
